It All Started When...
In 2023, I found my way back to reading — and everything changed.
After years of pouring myself into caring for others, I rediscovered my love for books through a series that completely reignited my imagination and sense of wonder. Reading became more than an escape; it became a reminder of who I was before life asked me to be everything for everyone else.
Inspired by that spark, I began sharing my love for books online and dreaming up creative ways to bring that world into everyday life. I originally envisioned a jewelry-focused shop, but quickly learned to follow what felt accessible and aligned. I leaned into bookish accessories first — pieces that felt cozy, meaningful, and full of heart.
As the shop grew, so did my confidence. What started as a small creative outlet slowly turned into something more — allowing me to expand into earrings, resin hair clips, and other handmade pieces that reflect the same warmth and intention.
Why I Create
Creativity has always been a source of comfort for me — especially after losing my father. In the years that followed, creating became a way to process, to heal, and to reconnect with joy in the midst of grief.
Thread of Gold Design is rooted in that journey. Every piece I make carries intention, care, and the belief that creativity can be both grounding and retroactive. I create for those who find comfort in stories, who romanticize the little things, and who understand how meaningful a small, beautiful object can be.
This shop is a reminder — to myself and to others — that it's okay to create softness, beauty, and space for joy in everyday life.
